1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the website Happito.in or the Happito mobile application, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service in the city of Kanpur and surrounding areas.

2. Service Usage

Happito acts as a platform connecting users with third-party service professionals. While we vet our professionals, users acknowledge that:

• Services must be booked only through our official platform (Website/App).
• Directly hiring a Happito professional outside the platform voids all warranties and safety guarantees.
• Users must provide a safe environment for the professionals to work.

3. Pricing & Payments

All prices listed on the Happito platform are transparent. However:

• Final pricing may change if the scope of work increases upon inspection.
• Payments should be made online through the platform or in cash to the professional as specified in the booking.
• A visiting charge may apply if a professional reaches the location but the service is cancelled by the user.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Users can cancel their bookings through the app or website. Our policy includes:

• Free Cancellation: Up to 2 hours before the scheduled time.
• Late Cancellation: A nominal fee of ₹50 - ₹100 may apply if cancelled within 1 hour of the service time.
• Refunds: If a service is paid for online but not delivered, the refund will be processed within 5-7 working days to the original payment source.

5. Limitation of Liability

Happito shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the user for the specific service in question.

6. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in relation to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
